I decided to interview the owner of One Love Cafe for this assignment, because I felt the feedback I received from customers could help with the business.
2.) Talk to 3 Customers.
After listening to who Juli thought her target market was, I went out and found customers in that demographic. She pointed out a couple of regular customers who would be perfect for interviewing since they are in the twenty percent.
3.) Reflect.
Yes, the entrepreneur does understand her customers' demographics and their needs, and she is constantly going around to customers during business hours to ask them how everything is and if there is anything she can do to make them happier while at her business. She is definitely right about who her twenty percent is and is constantly seeking feedback about things that she can do to make her customers' time at her restaurant more enjoyable.
Jennie, I really enjoyed listening to your interviews. I also interviewed a place similar to that of One Love Cafe, called Good Vibes Juice Co. The owner of One Love Cafe seems to know her demographic/target market very well and her methods of advertising are clever. ReplyDeleteWow, you did a wonderful job with your interviews! You're very amicable and I think that it's a great skill to have for the entrepreneur world. I think that you were able to get a lot of good feedback from both the business owner and the customers, and it is pretty cool how the entrepreneur really understands her customer base-- you can tell she's been doing this for quite some time!
Like your business owner, the one I interviewed also had a pretty clear idea as to the needs and desires of his customers. It's pretty amazing to see how intuitive people can be!

Hi Jennie. I have to first say you did an amazing job and did everything you were supposed to on this assignment and I am making sure Dr. Pryor knows that! Your interviews were perfect and I really enjoyed watching them, especially the first one, she was very cute. I have already looked up this cafe on FB and will be visiting the next time I visit Gainesville. Great job again!

Hey Jennie, Awesome job with your assignment! I think you got really accurate and relevant information about the business and target market from the business owner so good job on that. You also interviewed the customers brilliantly. You spoke very clearly and were able to communicate very well with all the customers who seemed very loyal and passionate about the restaurant.
