Introduction!

Hello everyone! My name is Jennie Carmody and I am a senior studying Recreation and Event Management. I'm from a small town on the east coast of Florida called Satellite Beach, and that is where I went to school from kindergarten to the twelfth grade. My mom is the owner of a restaurant here in Gainesville and my dad is a dentist in Merritt Island. I have two sisters, one step sister, and two step brothers, and all of us are around the same ages.
I love traveling, and I have been to quite a few places outside of the United States including Ireland, Mexico, and many islands in the Caribbean. I had the amazing opportunity to study abroad in Australia last summer, and that was the highlight of my college career so far!
I am studying event management, so I am hoping to become an event coordinator of my own business someday. Right now I am looking to get experience in the events and wedding industries through volunteering and internships.
