Solution: Because there is a limited amount of places for students to charge electronics and UF tries to be sustainable whenever possible, solar-powered battery charging stations should be placed around campus for students to use whenever they need.

Hello Jennie,
ReplyDeleteI thoroughly enjoyed your elevator pitch! First off, I noticed that you were dressed very professionally which gave me a first good impression. You were convincing and factual about your SolarChargeIt product. Content wise, I extremely am satisfied with the problem you are addressing and trying to resolve. UF is already quite the sustainable campus, but there are still some problems, like having to go inside to charge your laptop or phone in between classes, when it is a beautiful day outside. I believe implementing more outlets and places to charge devices outdoors will feed into the outdoor student lifestyle here immensely and positively. Great idea!

I love how you connected UF's mission to be sustainable with your solar powered chargers opportunity. I agree there are thousands of students on campus and not enough outlets for students. I appreciated that your pitch was thorough, well thought out, and professional. I would love to hear more about your opportunity and see it be implemented across campus! ReplyDeleteI love your idea! The lack of outlets around campus, especially in Marston, is a big problem for me, personally, and I'm sure a lot of other students share in this belief. This would also be great and keep students' devices charged pretty much constantly. It would be so cool to see these around campus. I really enjoyed watching your pitch. It was very sophisticated and well put together. I like how you called attention to UF's goal towards sustainability.
